Pearcey scores 19 in defeat of Chargers
Amanda Pearcey scored 21 points to lead the Mystics to an 81-43 victory over the Crandall Chargers Saturday afternoon in Moncton.

The Crandall Chargers put up a determined effort on their home court, but the visiting Mount Saint Vincent Mystics proved too strong, securing an 81-44 victory in ACAA women's basketball action.
The Mystics came out firing, setting the tone early with relentless defensive pressure and efficient scoring. Crandall battled to keep pace, showing flashes of strong play, but Mount Saint Vincent's depth and execution allowed them to build a comfortable lead by halftime.
Despite the scoreline, the Chargers continued to fight through all four quarters, displaying grit and resilience in front of their home crowd. Strong efforts on both ends of the floor kept them competitive, but the Mystics' experience and offensive firepower ultimately carried them to the win.
Amanda Pearcey had a game high 21 points to lead the Mystics, with Celine Sterckel and Keezaidra Smith contributing 16 and 11, respectively. Smith also had eight rebounds in the effort.
Leading the way for Crandall was Lauren Lilly with 12 and Mackenzi Chapman with eight.
Both teams face-off again tomorrow at 1:00pm
