Tommies Secure Victory over Crandall in Think Pink Game

Fredericton, NB - In a closely contested matchup, STU Tommies emerged triumphant with an 88-82 win over Crandall Chargers, maintaining their top spot in the league standings while the Chargers sit in third place in the ACAA.

The first quarter saw both teams trading baskets in a closely contested battle, with the Tommies edging out the Chargers by just one point, 24-23.
 
As the game progressed into the second quarter, the Tommies began to pull away, extending their lead to 44-35 by halftime, thanks to solid offensive execution.
 
The Chargers came out strong in the third quarter, narrowing the Tommies advantage to just three points, 66-63, heading into the final period.
 
In the fourth quarter, both teams fought hard, with each possession becoming crucial. However, the Tommies managed to maintain their composure and secure the win with a final score of 88-82.
 
Noah McCarthy led the Tommies in points with 21, while Ted Braden contributed with a double-double performance of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Meanwhile, Marc Hofer led the way for the Chargers with 19 points.

With this victory, the Tommies solidify their position at the top of the league standings, while the Chargers add another loss to their record and currently sit in third place in the ACAA.
