The Crandall Chargers wrapped up their home schedule on Sunday afternoon, hosting the MSVU Mystics in a special Grad Game celebration. Despite an energized home crowd, the Chargers fell 91-53 to the nationally ranked Mystics.
The Chargers came out with intensity, feeding off the energy of the home fans, but MSVU's experience and depth proved to be too much to handle. The Mystics set the tone early, using their defensive pressure to force turnovers and convert them into transition points. Crandall showed flashes of strong play, battling on the boards and knocking down key shots, but the Mystics' offensive efficiency kept them in control.
Amanda Pearcey led the way for the Mystics, netting 18 points. Celine Sterckel had 14 points and eight rebounds in the effort, while the Mystics also received scoring from Kaleigh Coco-Edman and Jenna Matheson with nine points a piece.
