(Saint John, NB) A hot start from the Crandall Chargers had the Seawolves fighting to get back in it in the first set of the Friday night matchup (25-13, 25-20, 25-19, 25-22).
With key offensive player Charlie Benoit getting 16 kills for the Chargers, they gained momentum early on, posing a challenge to the so far undefeated Seawolves squad.
In the second and third sets the Seawolves battled back, showcasing great defence form Emily Robichaud, with 17 digs. Offensively, the Seawolves Kate McLeod was consistently impressive, with 17 kills overall.
The fourth set was another tight one, but the Seawolves managed to maintain a slight lead and won 25-22.
