Grace Fanhbulleh Becomes First Female Boxer In Crandall History

MONCTON, NB - Grace Fanhbulleh (Winnipeg, MB) makes history as the first female boxer to compete under the banner of the Crandall Chargers.

Competing in the 52 Kg weight class, Fanhbulleh prefers to keep her opponent at a distance working them from an out-boxer technique but is not afraid to get up close and personal when needed.

Before her boxing career, Fanhbulleh trained at Dragon's Den Mixed Martial Arts. Once dedicated to boxing, she was with the Stingers Boxing Club for three years before lockdowns forced the club to merge with her current club, United Boxing.

"Being the first female boxer In charges history is an honour. Getting an education while still boxing is an even bigger honour and a blessing for me." Said Fanhbulleh, about what it means to be the first female boxer to compete for Crandall University. "I hope I can set a good example for other young female boxers to attend Crandall or whatever university or college that offers boxing while pursuing their boxing dreams."

Fanhbulleh will begin her studies towards a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Crandall University in just a few short weeks.
