MONCTON, NB - Crandall Chargers Women's Volleyball squad are excited to announce the signing of local athlete Hailey Legacy (Dieppe, NB).

Graduating from Ecole Mathieu-Martin the 5'10" Legacy will fill the position of Middle Blocker.

Legacy helped to lead her Mathieu-Martin team to a 11-1 record this season, taking home a bronze medal at the provincial championships. Along with her high school career, Legacy spent time with the Fuzion Volleyball Club 17U and the Altius Volleyball 18U programs, seizing gold at the local tournament back in November.

"I hope to be a contributing factor to the team's success, continue to improve my playing skills and make lasting friendships with my future teammates" said Legacy when asked about her personal goals during her rookie campaign. "I was interested in the Kinesiology program for a while and when I learned it was offered at Crandall, which is close to home and family, I knew it was the perfect place to go. Also, I wanted to continue my volleyball career and when I discovered there was a great volleyball program I was thrilled."

Legacy will be enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts, Kinesiology program beginning this September at Crandall University.
