MONCTON, NB - Mystics Amanda Volcko scores a Hat-Trick to lead MSVU to a 4-0 victory over the Crandall Chargers.
League leading MSVU Mystics were in controll of the matchup Sunday afternoon keeping the Chargers on their back foot all 90 minutes. This is the second game in a row Crandall has not recorded a single shot.
Amanda Volcko found the back of the net three times in the 56' 60' and 86' minute of play, two of which were scored from awarded penalty kicks. Mhyah Allen opened the scoring for MSVU in the 27' minute with all 7 of her shots landing on goal.
Myay Clapperton had another busy turning away 18 of 22 shots faced along with numerous crosses defended. On the other side of the pitch Morgan Gillis kept a clean sheet and with no pressure coming from Crandall was seen wandering up as far as the 50 yard line.
Crandall will have to to recuperate after a busy three game week not playing again until Saturday, Sept. 30th as they host Holland College. The match will be held at Harrison Trimble High school with kickoff set for 2:00 PM.
