James French Brings ACAA Experience to Chargers
MONCTON, NB -  James French (Moncton, NB) has committed to Crandall University as a graduate transfer after receiving his undergraduate degree from Mount Allison University. French is a 6’5” Power Forward that can step in and take over a game. He comes to Crandall with 64 ACAA games under his belt, averaging over 20 minutes per game in all but his rookie season. Over the course of his career, French averaged 6.8 rebounds per game and a solid 44% field goal percentage.

“I had 5 great years of playing with great players and staff that have really impacted and played a role in my development as a player and person,” said French about his time at Mount Allison. Along with the rest of the ACAA, he lost the 2020-21 season that was canceled due to COVID-19, giving him another year of eligibility.

On what he will bring to Crandall, he said, “My goals as a first year Crandall player, but last year of eligibility, is to enjoy the game as much as possible on and off the floor and give back to my community whenever possible.”

French is enrolled in Crandall’s Education program and will begin his studies in September.
