MONCTON, NB - Crandall Chargers drop their final home game of the season to the STU Tommies 0-2.

 

Prior to kick-off, the Chargers honoured a trio of their graduating seniors in Maya Clapperton, Laine Bennet, and Megan Cook.

 

STU kept Crandall on their back foot the all match but the Chargers would bend but not break, taking a nil-nil tie into the halftime.

 

Chargers Goalkeeper Maya Clapperton was tested often by STU, turning away ten shots on goal.

 

Laura Horsley recorded both of the Tommies' goals, scoring in the 47' and 63' minutes, respectively. 

 

Caitlyn Steeves was unafraid to pull the trigger, getting off 9 shots in the bout for the Tommies, only two of which made their way on-goal.

 

Delia Dorey recorded the lone shot on goal for the Chargers.

 

Crandall will wrap up their season over the weekend  on the road as they face off against STU and UNBSJ,
