MONCTON, NB - The STU Tommies made quick work of Crandall and won the match 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-22).
Crandall had difficulty against the vertically gifted Tommies, who had 9 solo blocks and 3 blocking assists. Jacob Tratch went up to record 4 individual blocks for STU.
Brenton Romanchuck had a total of 15.5 points for the Tommies and led his team with 12 kills.
Shane Huggard was the go-to option for Crandall recording 20 swings, 8 of which he converted into points. Huggard also recorded the only successful block for Crandall.
Crandall will have time to recoup and prepare themselves after a rocky start to the season as the team won't play again until next Saturday, November 11 as they host the University de Sainte Anne Dragons.
