Chargers Win First Set In Program History, Tommies Win 3-1

Fredericton, NB - Chargers Men's Volleyball win their first set in program history, Tommies win 3-1 (25-16, 25-13, 18-25, 25-17).

The Chargers have reached their first milestone as a program winning their first set on Sunday afternoon while on the road in Fredericton.

Colby Rhese was far and away the go-to option for the Chargers as he saw 25 hitting attempts sent his way, and even with a -.080 Kill Percentage Rhese would go on to lead the team in points with 11.5.

Jack Hillier made himself known playing the ball on both sides of the net for the Chargers with 6 kills and a trio of solo blocks.

Brenton Romanchuck was the top scorer for STU with 9 kills and 3 solo blocks. Austin Hamilton had an outstanding match making plays all over the court with 6 digs, 5 kills, and a solo block.

The Crandall Chargers will have over a week to gameplan for the  0-2 Holland Hurricanes as the two will face off Thursday, Nov. 23 in Charlottetown, PE.
