Alward Scores 29, Seawolves Win In Overtime 68-62

MONCTON, NB - The Chargers playoff hopes are officially over after a 68-62 overtime loss to the visiting UNBSJ Seawolves.

 

Kelsey Alward recorded her second double-double of the year, putting up 29 points and coming down with 12 total rebounds for the Chargers. 

 

Kylee Balser had her defense on lock, leading the Chargers with 13 defensive rebounds, coming up with 4 steals, and going vertical for a block.

 

Laura Prekaj was the Seawolves scoring leader going 5-12 from the field and 5-6 from the line for 17 total points.

 

The Chargers are on the road for their next two matches against STU and MSVU before ending their season at home on the 23rd.
