Chargers Blow Past Seawolves 85-76

SAINT JOHN, NB - Chargers Blow Past Seawolves 85-76.

The Crandall Chargers rolled into Saint John Saturday evening to take down the UNBSJ Seawolves 85-76.

Three and a half minutes into the game Crandall pulled ahead and never gave back the lead. At one point midway through the fourth quarter the Chargers had a 24 point lead. 

Gabriel Cormier recorded 21 points as the Chargers scoring leading, going 8-13 from the field including a trio of buckets from beyond the arc and a perfect 2-2 from the line.

Devonn Glen left his mark in all aspects of play going 6-14 from the field with a trio of 3's while also high pointing 5 rebounds and passing the ball around for 7 assists.

Coming off the bench Tyray Cooper was a perfect 5-5 from the field and 2-2 from the line for 13 Crandall Points.

In a brief showing of 4 minutes, Jaden Witt was able to come down with 5 defensive rebounds for the Chargers.

Ethan Szemerda was the scoring leader for UNBSJ going 7-14 from the field and making his lone free throw of the game for 16 points. Szemerda would go on to also lead the Seawolves with 8 total rebounds and 5 assists. 

Crandall currently hold a 2-1 record and will host the 3-2 Holland Hurricanes next Saturday.
