For the second time in just over a week the STU Tommies have come into Crandall and secured a road victory, winning Saturday evening's matchup 81-70.

 

It was a back and forth matchup with STU taking a 3 point lead into the half. Coming out of halftime the Chargers lost all their momentum, getting outscored 24-7 in the quarter, a deficit the team was able to get back within a single possession during the fourth quarter but ultimately could not overcome.

 

Marc Hofer led the Chargers in scoring, shooting 9-15 from the field and 3-3 from the line for a total of 23 points.

 

Evan Valanne led the Tommies scoring with 22 total points. Vincent Lyttleton was a three point scoring machine with 6 shots scoring from beyond the arc for 19 points coming off the bench.

 

The Chargers will play their next three games on the road before returning to Crandall Feb 4th. Next Weekend Crandall will head to Halifax, NS to take on MSVU (9-2) and UKC (0-10).
