MONCTON, NB - Cook Leads Chargers to 3-1 Victory over MSVU 

Crandall shot out the gates quickly taking the first set 25-15. MSVU answered the call and took the second set with an equally dominating 25-13. It was not until the third set that the two squads would both find their rhythm, with the Chargers coming from behind to edge out the Mystics 25-22.The final set was a barn burner with multiple long rallies and needing extra points before Crandall ultimately finished the match with a 26-24 win in the fourth set.

Melora Cook had a season high 18.5 points for Crandall, leading Crandall with 16 kills. 

Chargers Setter Amanda MacBain had no shortage of players in which to set the ball as 3 Chargers had 25+ attacking attempts. McBain would account for 36 of Crandall's 40 assists.

Cela MacLellan had an outstanding game for the Mystics, scoring a combined 20 points playing both sides of the ball. Maclellan had 10 kills, 4 aces and went up for 6 solo blocks.

Crandall will head into the winter break with a 3-5 record and as of Sunday evening are sitting in 6th place in the ACAA. The Chargers will resume regular league play in January and will travel to Mount Allison in their first game back.
