Shania Glenn commits to Chargers Basketball

MONCTON, NB - Shania Glenn has committed to joining Crandall Chargers Women's Basketball.

Glenn will be making the move to Moncton from her hometown of Woodbridge Virginia, two years after she was originally being recruited by the Chargers.

Prior to suiting up in the Blue and Gold for Crandall Glenn has played for several teams including the AAU Lady Bears, SVM Rams and the CCBC Catonsville Cardinals.

A proven versatile player, Glenn is comfortable playing both Shooting and Point Guard positions, Glenn has also made herself known as a lockdown defender coming into each game with the mindset that she will not allow her player to make an impact.

"My brother is truly my mentor and spending a year with him doing what we both love has always been a dream." Said Shania about the opportunity to play at the same school as her brother, Devon Glenn of the men's basketball team. "He has been giving me an inside sight of Crandall since the first year he [attended] and ever since then I have been open to learning and experiencing so much more about the school.

Shania will begin her studies in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Kinesiology this coming September at Crandall University.
