Sam Reeder Joins Chargers Volleyball

MONCTON, NB - Chargers Men's Volleyball inks local talent in Sam Reeder.

The Riverview local is a six-foot-tall setter who recently played for Riverview High School and Gravitron Volleyball Club.

Reeder will come to Crandall already knowing one of his outside hitters, Liam Rafferty as the two men played together at Riverview High School.

"Being able to be part of the first men's volleyball team for Crandall is still beyond me…" Said Reeder when asked to describe what it means to be part of the first team Crandall University will ever field. "I went from trying volleyball for fun 3 years ago to being part of a community that has shaped me into who I am today."

Describing his style of play as accommodating to the needs of his hitters Reeder has committed himself to stepping up his aggression to match the high level of the ACAA.

"Sam played this past season with Gravitron Volleyball Club and showed his versatility. He played a number of positions and adapted well to situations he was thrown into. Sam is a welcome addition to our young team, and he will bring character and ability to our crew.

Reeder is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts - History program at Crandall University and will begin his courses this coming September.
